Rhode Island Governor J. Joseph Garrahy at the Famous Bock Beer Festival. Garrahy was a former ‘Gansett Goodwill man for the brewery before he was Governor. These festivals were known to get out of hand and were eventually shutdown in the mid 70’s due to debauchery.
