I’ve been a beer can collector since I was a teen in the 70s, and have always been a big fan of Narragansett cans (I have dozens of variations from the 30s to the 60s), especially the very graphic early cans from the 30s and 40s. A few years ago, when my family was cleaning out my grandmother’s estate, we came across this photo and that distinctive 1930s logo jumped right out at me. We’re pretty sure it’s her as a teenager, but don’t know where the photo was taken. I guess it explains how my affinity for ‘Gansett may very well be hereditary!
